Advertees no longer offers Direct to Garment printing (DTG Printing)
Direct to garment can produce good quality t shirt prints. We originally thought we would save on set up costs involved in screen printing on multi colour designs, but this has turned out to be true only in a few cases. We think DTG is preferable to sheet transfer techniques which have been used for this kind of order in the past. But we do not feel It is the best method for T shirt printing and certainly not suitable for more open weave garments such as polo shirtsor even hoodies or sweatshirts. This has been a learning process for Advertees and presently we do not think it delivers the consistancy we require regarding quality. It can produce outstanding prints at times, but often produces prints which are not of a high enough quality for us send out to customers. This descision will allow us more time to progres our screen printing in terms of quality, and turn around times. We hope to take another look at DTG again soon, this method improves year on year as new machines come on the market.
