Direct to Garment printing (DTG Printing) produces exceptionally high quality t shirt prints, it is durable. It does away with the set up costs involved in screen printing, making it ideal for short run orders, it is a relatively expensive and slow method way of customising bulk orders of T shirts, but preferable to sheet transfer techniques which have been used for this kind of order in the past. We feel It is so far restricted to T shirt printing and not suitable for more open weave garments such as polo shirts . This is a learning process for Advertees at present. Lead times and prices are not fully established, but the quality of the print is guaranteed, it has surpassed all our expectations in what it is able to achieve, especially on darker coloured shirts. The inks used in this DTG process are waterbased, and we are really pleased to have found a method which can reduce the use of plastics and waste so significantly
