Halftones

Halftones dots/elipses vary in size and are most commonly graded in LPI, lines per inch. We use a range of dot sizes and the choice will be dependent on many factors ie. inks,  T shirt type, size of design, contrast in design.

The finest half tone we print is 85LPI, we do not think Textiles would ever require a finer half tone than this, but bigger halftone dots can be used to great effect. Advertees Like to have artwork supplied without halftones applied, as the correct screen angle and dot size is essential to creating a good screen print.

Halftones are a key element in creating successful full colour separations.
