If you need cheap T-shirt printing you need to consider all the things that add to your costs. These include the number of print positions, and the number of colours within your design. The cheapest t shirt printing is single colour logos, and on orders of 10 shirts and above screen printing is by far the best option. For smaller quantities of shirts printed in more than one colour we would recommend either Direct to Garment or Cad cut Vynil. |

Nearly all T Shirt orders of more than 10 Tshirts will be screen printed. The price for screen printed T shirts is cheaper the more T shirts you order, as most of the costs involved are in the setting up of a job, there are price breaks shown on all our product pages. The exceptions are individuals names and numbers in which case we would use cad cut vynil, and T shirt designs which incorporate lots of colours or photographic content, we would then consider the use of Direct to Garment printing or DTG printing as it is sometimes known. |

This is a growing and important part of our industry now, we recommend the use of Earth Positive clothing for the best climate neutral and ethical standards available, and also Okarma high quality organic T shirts. Regards organic or waterbased T shirt printing it is always best to use waterbased inks, but white or light prints on to darker coloured shirts will either use a dicharge printing process, which uses bleaches and requires a wash before wear label, or an opaque waterbased ink which will contain polymers that give a similar performance to plastisols. Both these water based inks are preferable to plastic inks, but the greenest option of all is to print on to lighter coloured shirts. DTG printing is now probably the most environmentally sound option on smaller organic T shirt orders. No screens or artwork film are involved in the direct to garment process greatly reducing the use of screen coating and screen reclaiming chemicals. Direct to garment printing also makes use of waterbased inks. |
